What a stallion! The first time I laid eyes on this boy I was IN LOVE! I was truly taken aback by this horse's presense and ability to work a crowd! What an incredible representation of a traditional Gypsy Horse! "Rough" is a bold, forward moving guy who sports a tremendous amount of silky, quality hair, extremely unique and flashy coloring and a personality that just doesn't quit! Imported from Ireland through Clononeen Farms and bred by Hermit's Gypsy Cobs, "Rough" is certainly one of a kind! His sire is the incredibly impressive Hermit's Duke and like his sire, "Rough" has that little something extra that a stallion MUST have! This little guy always has a smile on his face and promises to put one on the face of everyone who meets him! We are elated to have Rough here with us at War Horse Farm and have used him to breed several of our own mares. Rough is a very efficient yet gentle breeder and wonderfully sweet with the mares! You can walk out in his pasture and handle him or any of his mares with NO problem. He is a TRUE GENTLEMAN!

Clononeen Daragh
Meet the wonderful Daragh.....what a complete GEM! She is just about the most unflappable, sane mare I've met. She is certainly a unique one with her flashy color and markings (technically an appy spot tobiano) and more refined, athletic build. Unfortunately, this mare vets 100% breeding sound but has been difficult to get in foal in the past so she sells at a reduced price. Daragh is an awesome, forward moving mare who just exudes confidence. She is an absolute DELIGHT to ride and I believe she would be safe for even the most inexperienced of riders. Daragh can often be seen standing on top of a hill, surveying her land and herd. She is an independent, confident and very thoughtful mare who has very quickly worked her way deep into my heart. Spend 5 minutes with Daragh and you'll be in love too!! It has been a very hard decision to part with this girl and it will, without a doubt, take a special person/family to get her from me.
